Ledger closure checker
Enter your five account totals, in the same unit and for the same period. The check runs in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.
Check your ledger
What the result means
- It applies the closure rule: the residual must be within your stated uncertainty.
- It is an arithmetic check of the numbers you enter, not a JL-26 grade or an audit.
- If the ledger does not close, check the meter boundaries before anything else; see the worked examples.
Overhead Ratio, too
If you add energy at M3 and M4, the checker also gives the Overhead Ratio, which equals PUE for a data center when both figures cover the same period.
Questions
Is my data stored?
No. The page makes no network requests; you can confirm this in your browser's developer tools.
Can I use this result in a report?
Report it as a self-check. A graded result needs the full method; see labels and grades.
